”You Made A Fool Of Death With Your Beauty” Book Review w/ Jackie (@thebookjoint_)

Book Nerds UNITE! I have been wanting to do this episode for oh so long. Reading is one of my favorite forms of self care & I always say I’d rather my drama in my books than my life 💯

I linked up with Jackie (@thebookjoint_) and we had a sister smoke session discussing “You Made A Fool of Death with Your Beauty” by Akwaeke Emezi. The story of Feyi, a Black women living in New York, finding life after grief and despite all the chaos life likes to throw at us when we are trying to heal.

We talk about how we felt about each character and their impact on the story line / Feyi’s decision making. We also try to decide who would play each character if this was to become a movie. It was a great book review and I can’t wait to hear what y’all thought of this book!
